Review: Urvinaturals Sandalwood Perfume Oil

Sandalwood has been used since ancient times in rituals and meditations. One of the primary sandalwood benefits is that it promotes mental clarity when used as incense or fragrance. This is why it is frequently used for meditation, prayer, or other spiritual rituals. Sandalwood is native to India and is called Chandan in Hindi. It’s lasting fragrance only improves with age. The use of sandalwood dates back to more than 4000 years where it was mainly sought after for its exotic scent. It provides a grounding and uplifting feeling due to its stable aroma base.
Therapeutic properties of Sandalwood: Antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, astringent, sedative, insecticide, urinary and lung antiseptic; relieves lung congestion and nausea.
Sandalwood has been one of my favorite fragrances but it’s hard to find a decent perfume with this fragrance. I’m so glad I came across Urvinaturals Sandalwood Perfume oil. It has become my go-to fragrance.

Features: Our Sandalwood Perfume Oil is oil based and is free from Phthlates:- Historically two primary phthlates are DBP( Dibutyl Phthlate ) and DEP ( Di-2-ethylhexylphthlate).DBP is widely used in nail products whereas DEP is used in scented products to help the scent linger. All our products are free from Phthlates.

Packaging: It comes in an outer cardboard box. Inside which the perfume oil is safely nested. The perfume itself comes in a small glass roll-on bottle. The roll on comes separately. The bottle comes with a safety lid to keep the perfume from spilling. The roll on imparts the perfect amount of oil each time. It’s not only eco-friendly but easy to carry and use as well. 

Smell: It has a soft, warm, woody, and balsamic fragrance. It’s enchanting and calming. This fragrance instantly lifts you up. It’s not overpowering but really subtle and mesmerizing. The fragrance lasts up to 4-6 hours on me. 

My experience: I have been using this fragrance since the day I received it. It’s become my favorite and my go-to fragrance. I think it’s going to be my signature scent. It’s such a soft, warm and soothing fragrance that I find it hard not to reach for it every day. It’s aroma instantly calms me and lifts my mood up. It even helped in reducing my headaches at times when applied to temples. It’s so easy to use and carry. Just apply a little perfume oil on your pulse points like inside the wrists, inside your elbows, behind your ears, etc. This oil gets absorbed within minutes and doesn’t leave any oiliness or stain behind. I find myself reaching for this fragrance on days when I’m stressed and it instantly soothes me. The fragrance transports you to a time long forgotten, in some ancient temple which is filled with calmness. I know it sounds like I’m exaggerating but I’m honestly not. I can’t describe how beautiful this scent is. Whenever I have it on my friend keeps close to me and asks what I’m wearing as it’s so beautiful. I have received so many compliments on this fragrance. It’s perfect to wear to office, colleges, and parties as well. This isn’t an overwhelming fragrance hence it’s easy to wear on any occasion. Perfumes last differently on different people due to the body temperature, they smell different too. While this lasts 4-6 hours on me, it can last longer on you. Most fragrances don’t last longer than that on me. If you haven’t given perfume oils a try, I’ll suggest you do so. They are usually more concentrated than other perfumes and their fragrances are more pure and lasting.

Overall: 10/5 because it deserves it. It’s the most beautiful fragrance that I have ever owned and I love it to bits.
Will I repurchase: Yess!!
Do I recommend: I recommend it strongly. Sandalwood is a fragrance that you should try at least once. Since this contains Essential oil, it’s highly recommended to do a patch test before using it. If you love warm fragrances, or woody scents do give this a try. I’m usually a person who loves floral aromas but sandalwood has topped the list of my favorite fragrances.
