If you have acne scars or dark spots or if you want to make you skin radiant then Vitamin C is the perfect solution. There are many different Vitamin c serums and essence available in the market with different concentrations and strengths. It’s better to start with a low concentrate and then move on to higher ones once you know how your skin reacts to it and gets used to it. It’s better to start using the essence during the night at first as vitamin c reacts with the sun and can damage your skin if not used properly. One thing to keep in mind is before starting a vitamin c Essence make sure to invest in a good sunscreen with high spf. I prefer using one with Spf 50 .

I used this essence for over a month. This essence was easy to incorporate in the routine and it didn’t react with the other products. I used two to three drops of it on my face at night after a toner and it absorbed easily into the skin. It has a strong citrusy smell which is hard to miss however it doesn’t last for long. The essence is thick in texture and leaves a sticky feeling for the first few minutes after which it absorbs in the skin. I was using another Vitamin c essence before I switched to this one and hence most of my dark spots were already faded. It helped in lightening the few that were left. It provided my skin with a nice glow and made it appear Brighter and smoother. It is lighter than other vitamin c serums hence perfect for daily use. I used it twice a day and my skin loved it. Though if you are using vitamin c for the first time start it by incorporating it in your night routine and make sure to use a sunscreen afterwards.

Overall: 4/5 . It’s a great essence to use if you are just using vitamin c for the first time. It’s light weight and non-greasy.
Will I repurchase: As good as this essence is it’s too costly in my opinion to repurchase.
Do I recommend: Yes, if you can splurge and are looking to start using vitamin c go for it. Whenever you are using any vitamin c products don’t forget to use a good spf sunscreen after it.
