Chauth and Nagsan Dead Sea Mud Scrub Review

The Dead Sea is a salt water lake in the Middle East, located between Israel and Jordan. The geographical features of the Dead Sea — including the fact that the lake is at the lowest sea level of any body of water on earth and surrounded by mountains — makes the surrounding silt and mud rich with a unique combination of minerals like magnesium, sodium, and potassium.

People use Dead Sea mud to treat health conditions ranging from psoriasis to back pain. A great deal of research backs up claims that Dead Sea mud can relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and more. (Google)

When I read about this I was intrigued and really wanted to try this amazing mud for myself. Chauth and Nagsan is a brand which focuses on products made from dead sea. I’ll be reviewing their entire range.

Today I’m talking about the Dead sea Mud scrub because I love scrubs and this one definitely made it to the top ten list in a short period of time.

Packaging: It comes in a glass tub with classy black label. It has an extra lid for hygenie and to keep it from spilling.

Smell: It smells like wet earth after rain. It’s a strong fragrance and people with sensitive noses might find it unpleasant but if like me you like the scent of wet earth you will simply love it.

My experience: I have used it for a few weeks now and I love it’s effects. It effectively cleans and removes all the dirt, whiteheads, impurities and gives my face a clean and fresh look. It might be a bit drying for people with dry skin but oily skin beauties will love it. Though you can’t skip a moisturizer after this. It has moderate sized scrub particles which clean up effectively. It’s perfect for using on the body as well and the effects are really good. I use it on my face once a week since any more might be too harsh for the delicate skin on the face. I apply the scrub keep it on for a minute and gently scrub it away with water. My skin after use is really soft, smooth, clean and glowing. Only a little quantity is required, so this will last you for a very long time.
