Packaging: It has a beautiful matte baby pink cap with the number 2 printed on it. It’s a beautiful jar and I simply adore it.

Smell: It has no fragrance so people with a sensitive nose will have no issues with this lip balm.

My Experience: When I first used it, I wasn’t expecting very much from it, to be honest. My lips which are perpetually dry like a desert are very hard to impress. So, I started using it and within a few days, I knew I had stumbled upon something amazing! Let’s talk about its packaging first. It’s a very beautiful and sturdy tub with a matte baby pink cap and has the number 2 printed on it in gloss. I love its colour, I’m so happy that I got the pink variant because it’s my favourite colour. It comes in three different variants. The cap colour of each variant is different, Apart from that I don’t think there is much difference.  It also comes in Black and White and they are equally gorgeous. I usually prefer my lip balm in a tube since they are more convenient to carry and apply plus more hygienic. But I’m glad this one comes in a tub since I get such a huge quantity at a very good price.

It is a very very moisturising lip balm. I’m saying that because I noticed that after this lip balm my lips stay moisturised for a very long time. It applies like a gloss and it looks so beautiful that you really don’t need to apply anything else. It improved the texture of my lips as well over time. My lips are now definitely more soft and smooth than before. I apply a generous amount of it during the night and I wake up with soft, smooth, moisturised lips that stay like that even if I don’t apply anything in the morning. Which by the way I had to do prior to this lip balm, otherwise my lips would start cracking up within minutes. Yes, they are that dry and that’s why I’m so impressed with this lip balm.

I currently have around 10-12 lip balms open that I used to use in rotation, since I get bored with them easily but after this, I find it hard to go back to using any other since I have to keep reapplying them every few hours and this one allows me to even forget the need to apply one for hours on end. It has no artificial fragrance or colour. It’s transparent and goes glossy on lips which works well for me. Since I now just go out in this lip balm and nothing else. It doesn’t feel heavy on the lips at all and forms a protective barrier on the lips. Which keeps them soft and smooth

It can be used as a base under the lipstick as well. Though I prefer applying it a few mins prior to the application of the lipstick and then gently wipe it off. That makes my lips soft, moisturised and prepped for the application of the lip balm at the same time ensures that my lipstick doesn’t get runny. Since this is a glossy lip balm there’s a chance of it making the lipstick runny. It does act as a good primer though and helps in keeping the lips moisturized even with matte lipsticks. I have almost finished more than half the tub as you can clearly see because I can’t get enough of this lip balm.

Cons:

• People might find the tub packaging unhygienic. At times even I don’t know what to do with the lip balm left on my finger after I have applied it. So, I started applying that on my elbows and that has made a huge difference.

Will I Repurchase: I will until I find something better than this, which I doubt I will. It’s almost as good as Laneige Lip mask, if not better.

Do I Recommend: Yes, go give this a try. Since its way cheaper than Laneige and might I say better than it.

Overall summary: 2NDesign First Lip Balm Restore & Soothing is my current love. It’s a beautiful pink pot of love that will take care of all you lip woes so silently,  you will forget you even have something on. It repairs, softens, smoothens, and moisturises your lips effortlessly.

Packaging: I’m a huge fan of its packaging. It comes in a glass tub with a black lid and an extra safely lid. The tub is made of thick glass and looks really luxurious. This lip scrub by Nature’s Touch will enhance anyone’s vanity table.

Smell: It has a slightly floral fragrance.

My Experience: I’m a huge fan of lipsticks hence a lip scrub is a must have in my vanity. I have been using this scrub for four weeks now and I have seen noteworthy results from it. It’s a powdery scrub light yellow in colour with sugar granules present. The scrub can be used on wet lips directly or you can make a paste of it using rose water and apply that. I prefer using it directly and it works just as well. It’s not at all harsh on the lips, nor makes them excessively dry. It mildly exfoliates and removes all the dead skin leaving behind soft and smooth skin.

I used it thrice a week and saw that my pigmentation was getting reduced as a result. It can never be completely removed in my case since I have pigmented lips but it helped make it more even and lightened it to a good extent as well. It prevented further darkening of the lips due to excessive use of lipsticks and for which I’m really grateful. The results are visible from the first use itself.

Pros:

• Stunning packaging which makes it a very beautiful product to own (I’m a sucker for beautiful glass packaging)
• A large quantity since only a pinch of product is used each time
• Mild on the lips
• Helps lighten lip pigmentation as it claims
• Gently exfoliates and removes all the dead skin cells without making the lips dry
• Perfect to be used before applying lipsticks
• Eco-friendly packaging which means once the scrub is over you can use this beautiful bottle to store anything else.

Cons:

• It’s costly for a lip scrub

Will I Repurchase: I won’t repurchase until I have finished it completely and this huge tub will last me for a long while.

Do I Recommend: Yes, if you have lip pigmentation like me, or use lipsticks regularly then a lip scrub is a must-have item and this does a great job of lightening lips and keeping them soft.

Overall: 4/5. It’s a good lip scrub and different from the others I have tried so far since first of all its powdered form sets it apart from others. Its quantity and quality are unmistakably good. It effectively lightens the lips with regular use and makes for a great companion to be used under lipsticks. Considering all these I think this scrub is definitely worth a try.

Packaging: They come in an outer cardboard box with all the details printed on it. The lipstick comes in a plastic wrap so you know that you have received a new piece. The bullets are silver in color and sturdy. The twist mechanism is smooth and easy. The bullet isn’t flimsy and hence perfect to carry around with you.

Smell: The super matte varient doesn’t have any fragrance but the creamy matte has an artificial vanilla Fragrance. It’s not too strong or overpowering and doesn’t stay for long so people with sensitive noses won’t have an issue with it.

Texture- The super matte are really matte in texture and tug just a lil when applied. The creamy matte is really smooth in texture and glides easily like butter.

Shades: I received two super matte shades and one creamy matte shade

Color- The shade 03 is a beautiful brick red shade with little brown undertones which makes it a beautiful MLBB shade for my pigmented lips. It has warm undertones and will suit Indian skintones beautifully.
The shade 11 is my favourite of the lot and the shade that I’m wearing almost daily. It’s a beautiful pinkish mauve shade which looks great on every outfit and occasion. This is perfect for Indian skintones especially for medium skintone or wheatish complexions like mine.
Shade 13 is a beautiful blue toned pink shade which instantly brightens up my face and is perfect for parties. It’s a gorgeous pink shade which will suit every skintone.

My experience: I have been using these Lipsticks everyday and I love them. They are easy to wear and no drying. They cover pigmentation in one swipe and two swipes are enough to get you the perfect shade. The super matte ones easily last for 5-6 hours with meals and light snacks in between. The creamy matte lasts for 4-5 hours with snacks and meals. They are all gorgeous shades that will work well with Indian skin tones. These budget friendly lipsticks gives you a chance to try some great new shades without putting a hole in your pocket.

Will I repurchase: Yes!! I usually don’t buy the same shade again as there are just so many beautiful shades out their to try but the shade 11 has won my heart and a permanent place in my collection. I reach out for this shade everytime I’m going out and I love how amazing it looks. It’s the perfect everyday mauve shade which suits every occasion.

Do I recommend: Yes!! These budget friendly Lipsticks are amazing and I’m sure you will find something you love. If you are not sure which shade to get I highly recommend trying the shade 11 as it’s just perfect.

Smell: It has a really nice sweet berry smell. Which is really soothing and not overpowering. It doesn’t stay so people with sensitive noses won’t have a problem with it. I really like the fragrance because it’s not the artificial kind of berry fragrance.
Shelf life: 2 years from mfg date

My experience: I have been using this lip balm for the last few weeks and I am in love with it. It’s the lightest lip balm I have tried so far. No matter how many coats of it you apply you won’t feel it on your lips at all. It doesn’t get heavy with reapplication and just a coat or two is enough to provide the lips with the moisture they need. It makes the lips soft and smooth and keeps them hydrated for a very long time. I applied it in the morning, had breakfast, lunch and evening snacks and my lips still felt hydrated and soft. I didn’t need a reapplication even after all that.
It’s colourless and hence perfect to apply under lipsticks as it won’t change their colour. Plus its so lightweight that you won’t even feel that you have it on.

It doesn’t have a heavy or greasy texture. It’s a colourless balm that provides my lips with a little shine when I have it on. It’s perfect when you are at home or going out but don’t want to put something heavy on your lips.
It’s a pleasure every time I put it on, the fragrance is soothing, the lip balm is moisturizing, what else do I need.
